Bahama Vacations – How to Travel with Pets

When you begin to look at Bahama vacations you will probably have many questions. For me, one of my very first, was, can I bring my dog with me … after all, he goes everywhere with us. Our four legged babies need a vacation also, as long as you prepare in advance for it … and the Bahamas makes it easy!
Our Maltese, Houdini, travels with us every time we go and is well known on South Bimini … whether we arrive by plane or boat he is always welcome ….

Bimini Sands is a pet friendly environment and our condo that we rent out welcomes your well behaved "furry" family members.

First off, you must clear customs. You must have a permit for entry and you can download it here … start early because the Bahamian government moves on, well, Bahamas time mon … lol!

There is a lot for you and your pet to do once you are officially on vacation … perhaps a tour of the island ….
Get a hug from your favorite bartender at Mackey's Sand Bar!

Of course, a cool beverage is always nice …
Or just relaxing on a lounger …

And there is always reeling in the big ones!

Traveling in the Bahamas with your pet is great fun for everyone. So when you begin to plan your Bahamas vacation … don’t forget your four legged family members!
